About Strong Minds Run Club...

Strong Minds Run Club is an empowerment program for children of all fitness levels. We transform traditional running games and drills into powerful life lessons. Parents know when their children are with us, they are getting a great workout AND building strength of character.

Every child is able to compete and reach the goals they once thought were beyond them. We work with children of all fitness levels, and have learned fun and active tools to harness self confidence. The eight core empowerment principles create a unique and powerful curriculum. One which combines physical health with strength of character.

At Strong Minds Run Club...We set goals and work to achieve them!

Each session a new goal is set, and children feel part of a team as they work towards reaching that goal! This is how they will CRUSH their goals at the Final Challenge.

We teach children how to handle disappointment and use it as fuel to achieve what is really important to them. When they finally do reach their goal, it will be worth more than gold.

Coach Rita

I believe in the importance of fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes physical activity and healthy habits. My goal is to help students develop a lifelong love of fitness and wellness by providing engaging and challenging lessons that cater to their individual needs and abilities. I believe that Physical Education is not just about developing physical skills but also about promoting social

and emotional growth. I encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, and leadership skills through various sports and physical activities. By creating a safe and supportive learning environment, I aim to empower students to take risks and try new things, ultimately helping them develop confidence and self-esteem.

She has a fun, energetic personality and a passion for empowering today’s youth. She’s very excited to use her abilities to help the Strong Minds athletes discover just how capable they really are.

Coach Nathan

I grew up playing sports year-round in upstate New York. After playing four years of rugby in college, I developed a love for running. At the time, it was a way to stay in good physical shape. I didn’t realize the impact the miles were having on my mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being. I have now been running, teaching, and coaching for the last five years. I have completed ten 100-mile ultramarathons and even have a run streak of over 600 days in a row. I believe that running can teach kids lessons that they cannot learn in a classroom.

I recently retired from law enforcement after 23 years and I’m on my next chapter in this great life. I am a fitness enthusiast, a mom, and substitute teacher at Legacy Traditional School! I believe that positivity, commitment, consistency and energy make us strong, resilient people. Above all I believe being a great human and serving others is the foundation of happiness. Thank you, let’s go!!!

Taylor had lived in Phoenix her whole life. She has grown up being involved in anything she could. She has worked with kids of all ages for four years and continues to build confidence and passion.
